
Kale Chips

Ingredients
- 1 bunch kale
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon flaked sea salt
- Any other seasoning of choice (see notes for suggestions)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300˚F (150˚C)
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Using a knife or kitchen shears, carefully remove kale leaves from thick stems and tear into bite-sized pieces
- Wash & carefully dry kale with salad spinner or alternatively a paper towel
- Drizzle leaves with olive oil and toss to combine
- Spread the leaves out evenly on the baking sheet and sprinkle with salt/seasoning of choice
- Bake until the edges are brown and crispy (but not burnt!); we recommend 20 minutes with oven on, 10 minutes with oven off
Notes
- Make sure the leaves are very dry
- Don’t overdo the oil
- Ensure that the leaves are not overlapping each other on the baking sheet
- Try different seasonings along with salt! Here are some ideas

- ○ Nutritional yeast
- ○ Sriracha & lime
- ○ Malt vinegar
- ○ Maple syrup
